April 5 (Reuters) – U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price said on Monday the United States was “gravely concerned” about violence in Ethiopia’s Tigray region and was looking into reports of massacres there.

Price welcomed statements that Eritrean troops would withdraw from Tigray and said a withdrawal would be an important step forward in de-escalation in the region.

  1. Let me tell the story of Tigray People who are very kind and sympathize with Amhara for years. A guy from the socalled Amhara region who were living with me in Tigray people were very kind to him. Some women said to him “ቅድመኻ ስጥህ የብለኒ (ቅድሞትኻ)እኔንን አፈር ልብላልህ የሚለዉ አባባል ይመስለዋል፥ሁላችሁም እንደምታዉቁት ትርጉም የአንድን ማህበረሰም አስተሳሰብና አመለካከትን ካላገናዘበ የታሰበለትን ወይም አቻ ትርጉም አይገኝለትም፥፥

People of Tigray(Tegarus) and esp mothers of Tigray are very kind to any foreigner . They donot deserve to suffer like that . Amhara elites are very wicked and pursuing their interest at the expense of massacring our mothers, sisters and children and demolishing our priceless churches, heritages and mosques.

I donot take pleasure by watching burned mosques even if I am a Christian.

As A Christian I have to teach and convert people and persuade them to follow the path of Christianity but using coercion and killing any member of different religious institution does contradict with the teaching of the Holy Bible .
