Two died of fire in Mekelle Prison today. Prisoners who have been injured are admitted to Aider hospital. The cause is the controversy over the recently approved Amnesty bill. So far, the same problem happens in Kaliti, D/Markos, Arba Minch, Woldia, Finote Selam, and Kilinto prisons but with no death report.
