TPLF forces shoot down fighter jets and take over new towns

The TPLF Rebels have reportedly taken control of the Tigray Regional Aviation Monitoring Center.
Media reports say renewed fighting between the Ethiopian military alongside Eritrean and Tigrean rebel forces has resulted in heavy casualties.

The area was taken over by the rebel forces called Raaya, where Ethiopian warplanes reportedly carried out heavy airstrikes. TPLF officials also claimed to have shot down an Ethiopian military C-130 Hecules.
Ethiopian warplanes have bombed a market in the northern city of Makelle, killing at least 43 people.
The sources added that the TPLF forces captured other bases for a few hours and then withdrew to avoid being bombed. The fighting started after the Tigray region comes from the region where the most serious humanitarian crisis taagneed morning after we started the internet and making the rest areas.

Air Strike on Village Market in Tigray

The United States is gravely concerned by reports that dozens of civilians were killed or injured during a bombing of a village market in northern Tigray on June 22.  We strongly condemn this reprehensible act.  There are also credible reports that security forces denied medical personnel access to the victims of this terrible attack.  Denying victims urgently needed medical care is heinous and absolutely unacceptable.  We urge the Ethiopian authorities to ensure full and unhindered medical access to the victims immediately.  We also call for an urgent and independent investigation, as well as remedial action, to hold those responsible for this attack accountable.  The United States again urges an immediate ceasefire in Tigray, unhindered humanitarian access, and protection for civilians.
