Report: North Korea Considering Missile Strike on Guam
North Korea is “carefully examining” a plan to launch a missile strike on the U.S. Pacific territory of Guam, according to reports.
North Korea’s military said, in a statement carried by the state-run news agency, that the plan could be “put into practice” once leader Kim Jong Un makes a decision.
North Korea reportedly also warned it could “carry out a preemptive operation if the U.S. showed signs of provocation.”
This comes just hours after President Donald Trump said any North Korean threat to the U.S. would be met with “fire and fury.”
