Car blast injures Greece’s former central bank chief Papademos

(RT) — An explosive device hidden in an envelope detonated inside the car of former Greek central bank chief Lucas Papademos in central Athens on Thursday, injuring him and his driver, police said. “Mr. Papademos and his driver are being rushed to hospital,” a police official said. Papademos has served as vice president of the European Central Bank. (Reuters)
