The Fundraising Activity Hosted by Oromo Women’s Organization DMV chapter
The fundraising activity organized by International Oromo Women’s Organization (IOWO) chapter in Washington DC, Metropolitan area was an example of success. It showed us that what, even, a small group of individuals can do if determined to be successful in achieving a goal.
This group of women came together and saw an opportunity to help their people back home, especially those Oromo mothers who lost practically everything during the Oromo Protests. Their loved ones’ lives, their land, dignity as a human being under tyrannical regime.
As we know the regime did not want to address the legitimate grievances of the people, instead it started killings as an answer, these indiscriminate killings have left many Oromo mothers lose their school age kids, husbands, etc.
We the (IOWO’s chapter in Washington DC metropolitan area) really appreciate our guests for contributing to the cause. Your contribution means a lot. It shows a solid solidarity and stance with the Oromo mothers and tell them we are with them and share their pain. Your donation will help them making a huge difference in their lives.
